Teaching and Arts For Earth

I love the potential consistency of family. Lol my cousins are thinking of rallying together in a family FaceTime session.  This is a sort of virtual reunion.  We all used to lean on grandma for news of each other.  So spread out across the country. Hardly able to have a cup of tea together.. yet here we go.  About to share tea on FaceTime.  Not today, but almost.
      Karen and I have spent a bit of time together and are wondering , is this scary for the others?  Does the specter of our youth cloud our image of who we are today?  I think there was a bit of that while setting up a call between Karen StG and I a few months ago, but that quickly passed.
      I loved visiting Maine as a kid to see the cousins, aunts and uncles. And Minnesota to see cousin Karen, Doug and Becky.  Uncle Don and aunt Daphen. They were the closest to Michigan so we did a few more things together.
       My cousins are amazing. We are all getting on but the kids are coming up too in their own unique ways.
More to come.  We started compiling a current day family tree just to see who we are missing.  Sad to think Doug has been gone for years and families have split up, mom is the last girl standing in her generation.  The grand dame at 97.  Next is finding and looking up the renegades through ancestry . Com  now that will be interesting.

This fascinating video has enhanced my  understanding of a therapy I have recently experienced called Brainpaint. A neurofeedback therapy to aid in recovery of PTSD. Who knew that my life had caused this and more importantly that there could be life, happiness, freedom of self after PTSD?

      A combination of events including my education inassage Therapy and holistic modalities such as applications of Polarity Therapy have given me new hope and this video helps explain why the activity of learning , reclaiming my health and Brainpaint are essential in my recovery.

These are such lovely folks.  Met the Peace Poets Aug.26th when they came to Ron and Jan's BugFarm with David Solnit to make banners, practice mural painting and gear up for the September 8th March in SanFrancisco to Greet the Global Climate Summit and let them know we demand action  to get a grip in Climate.

Spent the day on Saturday singing "Happy Earth Day To Yoooooo" with the kids of Ventura while making walking sticks and painting with the smashing Sarah Jenks Flesher and the lovely Patricia Anders.










Earthday with Arts ForEarth kept the kids on the hiking trail with Arundle stalks turned hiking sticks and magic wands thanks to me ( #MichelleNosco ) and my team of artists #Sarah Jenks Flesher and #Patricia Anders. 
Our Booth was provided thanks to #RinconVitovaInsectaries to help spread the important messages of "serving locally sourced organic food" and "slowing global warming with a tax on carbon". Parents visiting #ArtsForEarthlearned all about it from partners: #VenturaFoodCoop and the #CitizensClimateLobby.
