It's springtime and we are gearing up with the nature club. I keep promising the kids that it's time to paint.
So far we've selected subjects from a vast treasure trove of reference photos. These baby animals from this So/Central California mountain wilderness have become drawings, are being transferred to huge watercolor paper and next week we'll get out the color!

NEXT MONTH:
This coming April 22nd (Friday) from 1-4pm You and your family are invited to celebrate Earth Day at the Frazier Park Community Park and Building. Arts For Earth Foundation is partnering with the Jizo Peace Center. Jane Goodall's Roots and Shoots giant peace dove parade will start off the festivities followed with an exhibit of Earth friendly ideas, recycled art, Beautiful Oak Tree and area landscape paintings, crafts for the kids and an art show of the Nature Clubs "in progress creations", Oaks as Acorns displays, an historical walking tour around the park with our local Ridge Route Historical Society. Other groups in our mountain community are invited to participate

This is a community event, lets make it a party to celebrate Earth Day. We'll keep you informed as we gather friends to help make it the best ever... after all it's already our 2nd annual Earth Day Celebration up here in the mountains!
